ATARU Curry Soup.

カレースープください
"Please give me curry soup."

Even though it is not exactly the same, still I could not resist. The frozen version of Ataru's favorite curry soup!

Cooking it was no different than making instant noodles except for more dishes to wash.
The taste met expectations: A mild Japanese curry flavor soup with thick, chewy noodles. Perhaps the most appealing part of the noodles would be its relevance to Ataru? Frozen and dry instant foods always seem malnourished in my eyes.

Colours.

Even now, I do not see a difference in some of parts that I made a mistake in. Test from here though not sure of its authenticity, the results are quite interesting.
Over the past weekend, I purchased some fabric. The stripes one was a cheap purchase, but it is a bit rough of the skin so it shall be practice material. The small lot of antique white circles will be the wristband for a skirt.

Thoughts
I particularly liked how th
e plot focus on the howdunit, which eliminates the sob story that most detective drama tend to have at the end of each episode/season. Even if the lead was not Ohno, I would still watch this drama. Though, a bit more humor and less poker face would be swell.Below, I have compiled a list of the "hints" in each episode's opening.

Opening Scene

The side in which they stood at the opening scene indicates the gender of the criminal in each episode. (No opening scene for episode 10.)

  • Initials of the criminal's stolen & real name. Not sure if the "I" in "idintity" meant something or a mistake during production.
  • 609: The movement shows the dead combo/combination shot. The numbers 09 can be read as "o-ku", which means billion, alluding to cost of the diamonds.
  • Airplane that Enomoto gets on.
  • Glasses: This is perhaps the best hint. Enomoto takes off his glasses -- Showing his true colors.

Quotes
A beautiful line on freedom and its worth, spoke by Enomoto in the last episode. I particularly like how the author (or screenwriter?) used the word "gomen".

"Have you reached the other side of the glass?
After seeking revenge, obtaining the diamonds, are you liberated?
I don't think so.

I see glass entrapping you from all directions.

I refuse to be entrapped.
Even if I can't reach the other side, I would like to to be free."
